Named after the acronym “State of the Art,” meaning the highest level of development at a particular time (especially the present time) SOTA Imaging has been delivering “State-of-the-Art” technologies to imaging companies and customers since 1987. Sota Imaging was founded in the 1980’s as an R&D company in Southern California, focused on optical system development. Since then, we designed optical systems for clients around the world and from various technological organizations, including NASA.
Our track record speaks for itself: Our technologies have been used in some of the most recognized intraoral cameras, including Gendex Accucam and Ultracam. As an OEM for Vipersoft and Dentrix, we built and shipped thousands of units of Vipercam and Imagecam, two of the most widely used high-end cameras in the industry.
With the introduction the Sota Imaging Claris i310D direct plug USB 2.0 Digital Intraoral Camera, we set the standard for image quality and reliability at a fraction of the cost. One USB 2.0 cable is all you need to view “true-to-life” colored images that are simply above the rest.
Sota imaging has now expanded the product line to provide a full digital imaging solution fit for any dental and veterinary environment. The highly anticipated straight USB Clio Digital X-ray System delivers the highest resolution images in the industry accompanied with the powerful Cliosoft Imaging Software which allows for simple integration with all leading brands of practice management software. The Claris ACX Intraoral X-ray is designed for today’s modern, busy practice with its wide range of installation options accommodating all types of patients for both digital and film-based practices.
